Scott’s strong belief that no one should die alone is part of what called him to this work. Providing service and support for friends throughout the AIDS crisis and more recent personal experiences with death led him to formal training at the Peaceful Presence Project. Scott’s operational background and leadership in nonprofit management and experience as a doula make him the ideal mix to start the Present for You, NYC satellite operation. Scott is on the Board of Directors for the National End-of-Life Doula Alliance.

Jane founded Present for You after creating and leading her doula practice, Transition with Tranquility. She holds a Master of Science in Palliative Care from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, and has become a recognized voice in advancing the role of doulas for people living with serious illness. Jane has been a featured speaker at national conferences, including the CTAC/CAPC Leadership Summit, and has extensive experience as a bedside attendant for those choosing medical aid in dying. She completed doula training programs through both the University of Vermont and the International End of Life Doula Association (INELDA).
All consultations are virtual via Zoom or Google Meet.
